Summary:
D.A. Davidson is seeking to hire a creative, self-driven professional, preferably with prior experience in the Financial Services industry. Areas of focus will include understanding and improving existing legacy business processes as well as green-field work in emerging business areas and cloud adoption strategies. This position will work closely with Wealth Management, Capital Markets, Asset Management, and Corporate Services to model, analyze and improve process execution specific to technology solutions. D.A. Davidson is willing to provide technical training to candidates that have a prior understanding of the wealth management industry, associated data requirements and related concepts.

Qualifications
* Prior experience within the Financial Services industry is preferred, which could include working with assets under management/administration, households, custodian records, advisory programs, and master account records.
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Information Systems or Business Intelligence
* Experience defining business taxonomies, hierarchies and conceptual models is preferred.
* Understanding of Data Governance and Data Assurance principles is beneficial.
* Strong business acumen, collaboration, and presentation skills
* Ability to contribute across roles and technologies when necessary.
* Knowledge of Azure cloud services and capabilities
* Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration, best practices, and follows Agile development.
* Experience interpreting, modifying, and creating business requirements for new integration, analysis, and business workflows.
* Experience converting business process requirements into logical and conceptual data models and process diagrams.

Job Responsibilities
* Work with IT and business stakeholders to clarify business concepts and definitions, reduce manual dependencies and clarify process and content ownership.
* Working with business users and solution architects to design and implement efficient technology solutions in support of business functions.
* Working with data visualization and process modeling tools to capture, document and design business solutions and supporting data elements.
* Work with business and IT team members to gather, scope and prioritize opportunities.
* Work as a member of a cross-functional IT team to define and clarify business requirements, develop implementation plans, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory policies.
* Partner closely with business users to evaluate business processes, identify improvement opportunities and assist in validation and end-user training when necessary.
* Assist with cloud adoption and migrations.
* Identify key business metrics and assist in developing dashboards and reports to provide clear understanding of process performance, key trends, and identify improvement opportunities and risks.
* Establishing and maintaining strong business partnerships and cross-functional relationships to coordinate priorities and company-wide objectives.
* Maintain a strong understanding of the Broker-Dealer / Wealth Management Industry
* Documenting data requirements and evaluating complex business problems to present actionable improvement recommendations.
* Coordinate with data service providers and platforms to enhance data processing and data usage.

The potential base pay hiring range for this role is $60,000 - $90,000. The compensation offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis considering a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the skills, relevant work experience, and geographic location of each specific candidate.
