Experience and Skills
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and related training; advanced degree or professional designation a plus
* 5+ years industry experience in a business development function with experience sourcing and closing new business
* Familiarity with actively-managed investment strategies, modern portfolio theory, and separate account management concepts and product offerings
* Series 65 or 66 license, or ability to attain within first three months of employment
* Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
* Proven ability to proactively work successfully with both external and internal clients.
* Ability to travel as needed (approximately 20-40% travel on an annual basis)
Duties:
* Develop, cultivate, and manage strong relationships with Financial Professionals through consultative and proactive service- both in-person and virtual
*Provide superior client service through a responsive, thoughtful, and organized approach to managing both existing client and prospective client relationships
* Deliver sales presentations, seminars, and consulting meetings with Financial Professionals and other Centers of Influence across partner distribution channels
* Identify needs for and contribute to the creation and distribution of marketing and other promotional efforts
* Document and track sales and client service activity in CRM system
* Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed
