Qualifications:
* Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or 5 years related experience
* Industry experience in retail investments, estate planning, financial planning, audit, accounting, or insurance preferred
* 5-8 years of experience as a successful trainer
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience with the Thomson Reuters / BETA, Trade Web, CRM, Envestnet, Hearsay and/or other Wealth Management tool sets preferred.
* Strong understanding of retail trading platforms
* Ability to work independently and in pressure situations with minimal direction.
* Sound judgment, initiative and good decision-making and organizational skills
* Relate with others in a professional manner in order to accomplish training and department objectives.
* Follow policies and procedures. Maintain client confidentiality.
* Communicate in a clear and service-oriented manner. Use appropriate, professional language and grammar to effectively exchange ideas and information.
* Ability to proactively work with both external and internal clients. Relate with others in a professional manner in order to accomplish work responsibilities and objectives.
* Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance.
Duties:
* Deliver an ongoing training program for Wealth Management branches on various FA Desktop applications that will be implemented and executed throughout out the year in various manners (live webinars, in person visits, recorded training sessions).
* Work closely with the IT Technology Desktop Analyst in the coordination of enhancements and new releases for the FA Desktop to plan upgrade/release process, testing and implementation.
* Coordinate with the relevant Trading or Operations departments included in upgrade/release process.
* Develop a program to collect feedback on training content and training delivery.
* Review training plan quarterly for additional requirements, effectiveness of training conducted, and effectiveness of training delivery based on feedback from users.
* Available as a day-to-day contact for the field for questions pertaining to the FA Desktop.
* Act as the FA Desktop liaison and work with other Advisor Solutions Team (AST), to implementation as necessary, productivity initiatives and training focused on the perspective of driving productivity and business development for Financial Advisors.
* Work with Transition Team with the onboarding of new FA/RA/CA in account transfers, training and transition process
* Primary training responsibility and driver of future enhancements for Desktop tools which may include but not limited to Thomson/BETA, Envestnet, CRM, and Hearsay
* Work closely with the IT Service Desk on training for the Service Desk staff on FA Desktop applications.
* Work closely with IT to test and release new FA Desktop tools and applications.
* Attend vendor calls, trainings and conferences.
* Submit work request documentation to for enhancement and change process requests.
* Participated in escalation process for service desk tickets pertaining Desktop tools.
* Conduct presentations as requested for training sessions, branch meetings and internal meetings.
* Work closely with vendors on enhancements, upgrades and service items pertaining to Davidson’s platform.
* Assist in maintaining up-to-date training material, and administration of internal web page.
* Perform any other duties and special projects as necessary.

The potential base pay hiring range for this role is $48,000 - $85,000. The compensation offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis considering a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the skills, relevant work experience, and geographic location of each specific candidate.
