Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or experience
* Experience demonstrating proactive support and management of complex computer systems in a mid-sized or large business environment or enterprise level
* Experience working with detailed documentation and system procedures
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; ability to communicate technical directions, both in person and over the phone
* Communicate in a clear and service oriented manner; use appropriate, professional language and grammar to effectively exchange ideas and information with executives and business leaders
* Excellent customer service skills; ability to work successfully with a variety of personalities and various management levels
* Familiar with department policies, processes and procedures
* Consistently treat others with respect and maintain professional attitude and behavior
* Ability to work a variety of shifts
* Familiarity with Audit process and dealing with auditor requests and findings
* Ability to safely lift and carry as much as 50 pounds
* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
* Highly self-motivated and self-directed
* Organized and detail oriented
* Follow policies and procedures; maintain client confidentiality
* Ability to proactively work with both external and internal clients; relate with others in a professional manner in order to accomplish work responsibilities and objectives

Skills:
* Experience with VMware vSphere preferred
* Knowledge of Cipher suites and security best practices around them required
* Active Directory experience including DNS required.
* 3rd party troubleshooting with external vendors
* MS Applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Visio required
* IIS and Apache administration, management and configuration experience required.
* Basic LAN switching\WAN MPLS infrastructure knowledge preferred
* Networking OSI model knowledge preferred
* Certificate knowledge (installations, manipulations, Root CA implementations etc.) required
* Familiarity with automation \ management tools and DevOps methodologies a plus
* General experience with virtualized environments including server and desktop components
* Experience with and management of server operating systems such as Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016 and 2019 required.
* General experience with Desktop Operating systems such as Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 preferred
* SQL Database experience administration or general knowledge a plus
* Powershell scripting knowledge required
Duties:
* Directly support D.A. Davidson IT computing services which may include: servers and server operating systems, SAN storage, virtual server management, enterprise backup solutions and disaster recovery technologies; support may include but is not necessarily limited to patching, testing, installing, upgrading, training, troubleshooting, working with vendor support and sales, creating and updating support documentation, assisting with budgeting and cross-training other IT staff
* Directly support D.A. Davidson business applications which may include but is not limited to patching, testing, software license tracking, installing, upgrading, receiving application training, providing end user training, monitoring application performance, working with vendor support and sales and crating documentation for business associates and IT staff
* Directly support computer life-cycle and office technology which may include but is not limited to patching, imaging deploying, transferring user profiles, securing, receiving training on computer O/S and hardware, maintain inventory, managing printer support agreements, working with vendor support and sales, providing documentation to end users and IT staff and helping resolve incidents with computer relating to the O/S, core applications, or hardware that has been escalated from the Service Desk
* Evaluate the work load and capacity of computers and computer systems to determine the feasibility of expanding or enhancing capabilities or performance; recommend improvements to IT management
* Learn and adhere to all D.A. Davidson policies and procedures; attend scheduled meetings or training sessions around existing or new policies and/or procedures; recommend changed to IT procedures to improve productivity and/or reduce costs; participate in policy or procedure meetings; review and update specific policies considered an area of expertise
* Attend internal and external meetings as requested to provide expertise, gather data, collaborate with other IT and business personnel and advise management; this may include business related meetings
* Assist in attaining performance goals set by management such as but not limited to maintaining uptime, generating reports, and assisting with resolution of support issues
* Assist with and/or assume responsibility for the completion of project tasks, as directed; participate in project management meetings around areas of expertise; may be required to lead projects or assume significant project management roles
* Ensure work on tasks and special projects are completed within budget limits; assist with tasks to prepare annual budget and budgeting for special projects; review and potentially prepare drafts of portion of the IT budget relating to areas of administration as directed by management
* Keep current with new Information Technology solutions; maintain technical certifications relevant to work responsibilities; receive additional training as directed; train end users as directed
* Understand an adhere to the IT Change Management process
* Perform any other tasks as assigned
