Job Description

Summary:
Provide comprehensive administrative and project/deal support to the Public Finance Administration Team. As a member of the Public Finance Administrative team, will frequently interface with internal public finance partners and must possess strong interpersonal communication skills.

Experience and Skills

Qualifications:
* Ability to work with computers and various software programs. General knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word
* Perform key general administrative duties
* Detailed oriented, efficient and accurate typing, proofreading, researching, filing and other general administrative skills to effectively execute normal daily functions of the position
* Able to multi-task and prioritize job assignments and have strong organizational skills
* Sound judgment, problem-solving and decision making skills
* Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of and comply with FINRA, SEC and MSRB regulations regarding public finance business
* Ability to learn and comply with company and division operations, policies and procedures
* Ability to work with minimal supervision either independently or as a team member

Duties:
* Exercise independent judgment and initiative to complete tasks
* Ability to perform pertinent administrative tasks, including review of Closed Issue Files and Expense and Revenue Forms
* Ensure all appropriate documents are included in the Closed Issue Files
* Provide Rating Reports and other ad hoc report request from banking teams
* Review iMPACT Opportunities
* Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with the administrative and banking teams.
* Provide backup to other support staff of the Public Finance Administrative team
* Coordinate processes for closing transactions with internal and external parties
* Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of MSRB rules that pertain to public finance
* Serve as a resource to underwriters and bond counsel in researching details for documents
* Maintain an accurate account of deals on the Master Experience List
* Perform any other duties and projects as assigned
