As a Recruiting & Professional Development Associate for the Equity Capital Markets group ("ECM"), you will be responsible for overseeing recruitment and professional development of the group’s junior bankers and equity research associates in addition to providing support to departmental and ECM leadership. This role will collaborate closely with ECM leadership, Human Capital, and other key internal stakeholders to design and implement effective talent acquisition and development strategies.

Experience and Skills

Key Responsibilities
* Work with ECM Leadership, including ECM COO, Head of Investment Banking and Head of Research on development and implementation of annual staffing plan
* Design, develop, and execute recruiting strategy for both summer and full-time hires at Analyst and Associate levels, including a focus on diversity, marketing, and the competitive landscape for the department
* Oversee summer internship programs for the department from planning to executing, including program events, curriculum, and managing feedback processes
* Work with Head of Investment Banking and Head of Research on program management for junior bankers, including oversight of annual Analyst training, development of career track guidelines, ongoing career cornerstones and quarterly check-ins with Analysts and Associates, and other continuing education
* Collaborate with appropriate internal stakeholders, including Human Capital, Registration, Compliance, IT and other areas, to properly execute program processes such as onboarding, reviews, promotions, etc.
* Coordinate and manage annual junior banker review process
* Attend campus events, interview and evaluate candidates, make hiring recommendations, and manage the offer process
* Oversee and manage recruiting logistics, securing interviewers, scheduling candidates, offer management and onboarding
* Establish school teams to ensure appropriate departmental participation in campus activities
* Create and maintain appropriate year-round relationships with campus organizations and personnel at target schools including career centers, faculty, student clubs, internal stakeholders and alumni
* Develop database of talent via LinkedIn and other sources with proactive outreach to potential candidates
* Travel required to other offices, team events and colleges

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
* Interest in the Financial Services industry
* Excellent communication, sales and interpersonal skills; confident interacting with stakeholders at all levels
* Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
* Self-motivated and passionate; proven track record of project management and achieving results
* Demonstrated ability to think creatively, strategically, and operationally with a commercial mindset
* Ability to work well as an individual contributor in a collaborative environment and within working groups, both formal and informal, on various initiatives
* Ability to understand, dissect and analyze data to drive decisions
* Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
* Highly organized, attention to detail, excellent follow-through and delivery required
