We are adding a junior role to our experienced Sales & Trading team, specifically in Denver, CO or Portland, OR. This person would work closely with existing Sales and Operations professionals across all of our Institutional Equities offices. Duties and responsibilities to allow our experienced professionals to be more productive with their time. The candidate should expect broad exposure to equity research, sales and operations. As a Sales Associate, this role will work in a team environment with a primary focus of supporting client interactions, calendaring and data entry.

Experience and Skills

* Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics are desirable, or equivalent work experience
* Bright, mature, and motivated with the desire to excel and ability to adapt in an intellectually challenging environment
* Prior equity sales or trading support experience is helpful, but not required
* Currently licensed or ability to work toward securities industry licensing, such as the SIE, Series 7, 63 and 99.
* Strong communications skill and a high-level of interest in a team atmosphere
* Organizational skills
* Working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Flexible and adaptable to evolving tasks and requests - each day is different
* High level of integrity, work ethic and desire to build a career

* Supporting role for the Sales Team in terms of data entry and analysis.
* Supporting role in Equity Trading Operations
* Represent the company professionally in public as an individual who is supportive of D.A. Davidson’s goals.
* Perform any other duties as assigned.
