We are currently seeking an Internal Annuity Support Specialist to deliver outstanding pre-sales and ongoing annuity support to D.A. Davidson’s Financial Advisor Teams. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Director of Insurance and Annuities this role is responsible for timely and accurate product, quote and rate information as well as competitive comparisons for contract optimization.

Experience and Skills


* Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3+ years of relative professional experience
* Industry-specific or other relevant experience in a corporate environment
* Life Insurance, Long Term Care & Disability Insurance sales support experience required
* Experience as an insurance professional or financial advisor strongly preferred
* Excellent communication (oral and written), strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across business units and teams
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
* Outstanding presentation skills
* State Insurance license preferred or willingness to acquire within 30 days of employment
* Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance
* Willingness to travel


* Provide timely and accurate annuity quotes, rates and product information
* Provide timely responses to product and process related questions
* Provide weekly communication to Advisors regarding annuity rates and product updates
* Provide superior support to financial advisor teams in preparation for point of sale, i.e. Gather or delegate to external wholesaler support teams: pre-sale package to include Carrier & state required form, firm specific required forms, proposals and any other needed support
* Collaborate with the Associate Vice President of Insurance on support process and projects as needed
* Assist in existing contract review activities providing competitive comparisons for contract optimization
* Monitor process, technology and efficiencies to ensure they are functional, superior and ultimately meeting advisor and client needs optimally
* Introduce and/or develop resources and services to encourage Advisor adoption of best practices improving productivity, compliance, and the client experience
* Perform projects and other duties as assigned!
